ok, you are using IE7, where the javascript is broken and none of the fun stuff is working.

I'm ironing out alonetone on IE7 as of today, so hold on to your hats and you'll be able to alonetone like you've never alonetoned before.

Actually, it may very well be because I've done 0 testing to date on Internet Explorer. Bad me!

Are you using IE?

I just got VMware, and I promise to make sure everything is working nicely for our IE users. The percentage of IE alonetoners is growing to 20%...

Ummmmm.....I don't see an X when I roll over my tracks. I'm also not getting a speech bubble. Dang, you don't suppose it could have anything to do with having Vista, do you? ;)

I'll probably need to setup a little how-to to answer some of these questions. Thanks for taking the time to ask.

But here are some quick answers:

To comment, click on the speech bubble that shows up next to a track when you roll over it.
To delete your own track, click on the X that shows up next to a track when you roll over it.
You can click "Your Profile" and then "Edit Your Profile" to change all your info and add a pic
Um. Absolutely 0% secure. The point is people are supposed to pinch your music! You should only upload tracks that you want to share with the world and own the copyright to.

How can you add comments on alonetome?
How do you delete tracks?
How can you add pics to your profile?
How secure is this site as far as people trying to pinch your music?

Hey davey, thanks for signing up!

I bet you are right about the comments - they can only do good, and we have control after all regarding how prominent they are.

Regarding the title - Right now, I feel making it crystal clear what the site is and what it provides, so that people who just happen upon the site feel welcome and informed, especially if they are someone who could benefit from the services. Also, the page title and text plays a big role for search engines, allowing us to be seen when people are looking for something like us.

by the way, i think it would be cool to have the title just be "alonetone" and let people figure out for themselves what it actually is. or maybe just "alone tone - a damn fine home"
